One of the most important figures in the early 90's West Coast hip-hop, a superb multi-talented musician and the man behind Dr. Dre's classic debut album "The Chronic", responsible for providing the funky basslines we all loved so much - Colin Wolfe, agreed to talk with us about creating the landmark LP on its 25th anniversary. In our 15-min video interview, conducted through Messenger, Colin spoke on the importance of "The Chronic" for the rap game and music industry then and now; remembered the recording sessions for the album and the most memorable conversations with Dre; explained what it was like working on "The Chronic" in the midst of L.A. riots; spoke on their goal and developing the sound introduced on N.W.A.'s "Efil4Zaggin" LP; and revealed why he decided to leave Death Row and move to Atlanta not long after "The Chronic" came out...
