One of the most exciting releases of this year so far was “How We Intended”, new LP from Hell’s Kitchen MC extraordinaire Marlon Craft. Mixing jazzy vibes and live instrumentation with honest, deep and relatable lyrics and incredible rap skills - Marlon is truly a breath of fresh air on the scene.

To celebrate the new album - and his career as a whole - we caught up with Marlon to talk about “How We Intended”, his approach and message of being grateful, growing up in the art community of Hell’s Kitchen, NY, and his come up as a freestyle phenomenon. Marlon also spoke about producer Marco Polo becoming his mentor, shared a funny story of meeting the legendary Black Thought from The Roots; told us about his excellent concept album “The Tunnel’s End”, remembered the unique video shoot for "Family", coming up with a concept for "Gang Shit", and spoke about giving back to his community via the OUR.S collective - and that's still not everything!
